In today's lesson, we'll introduce you to a phrase that will provide you with the tools to learn from the people around. Now, a dictionary is great but don’t forget that you could use Swedish to learn in a more fun and interactive way. |
In Swedish, "I'm American" is Jag är amerikan. |

Let's break it down by syllable: Jag är amerikan. |
Now, let's hear it once again: Jag är amerikan. |
The first word Jag means "I." |
Let's break down this word and hear it one more time: Jag. |

This is followed by Är, which in Swedish is "am." |

So, to recap here, we have Jag är. Literally, this mean "I am." |
Let’s take a look at the next word: Amerikan, which means "American." |
