In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask where something is located. After watching this video, you’ll be able to ask for directions.
Now, let's take a look at some conversational phrases!

Var är snabbköpet?
Det är där borta.
Once more with the English translation.
Var är snabbköpet?
“Where is the supermarket?”
Det är där borta.
“It's over there.”
First of all you'll need to learn how to say "Where is [place]?"
The pattern is: Var är [place]?
"Where is [place]?".
For example:
"Where is the supermarket?"
Var är snabbköpet?, Var är snabbköpet?
Now, how do you answer this question?
Det är där borta.
"It's over there."
Listen to it again: Det är där borta., Det är där borta.
This Swedish sentence translates as "It is there away." But it means "It's over there."
