| In today’s lesson, we’ll cover a phrase used to get you to your destination when riding a taxi. We’ll look at the most basic way to express this, which is the word “to” followed by a destination. In today’s lesson, we’ll use Rönninge Station near where I live outside Stockholm. |

| Now, let’s hear it once again, station. |
| So, our location is Rönninge Station. In Swedish, “To Rönninge Station” is Till Rönninge station. |

| This is the most basic way of expressing where you would like to go, but don’t let people producing this hear that. So let’s give you another option. |

| I don’t go by taxi that often, but when I do, it’s usually because I don’t want to take the night bus, which takes more than double the time. Usually, you call for the taxi to pick you up, but if you’re in the middle of a city, there will most likely be some cars available. Check for the lit sign on the roof. Often, you are able to choose between a fixed price or pay per kilometer. There will also be some kind of pickup fee. For me, it costs about 500 kr to go from Stockholm and home, which is about 35 km. That would be about 72 USD. |
